Research Design

Choosing a research design for your research study occurs early in your dissertation process, but where do you begin? How do you know whether a descriptive or experimental design is what's best for your particular project? This section contains articles that focus on the research portion of your study, including sample size, data collection, and writing Chapter 1 of your these or dissertation.

It is very imperative to choose appropriate design to lead us the sound and clear result. For example, for  developing a new scale, it needs to be followed such phases;

1- Theoretical framework
2- Collection of items
3- Expert Judgement
4-Pilot Study
5-Exploratory Factor Analysis
6-Sample
7-Confirmatory Factor Analysis ( Construct Validity- convergent and discriminant validity
8-Factorial Invariance ( if necessary)
